A PEAK BEHIND THE SCENES: To create this virtual performance, it first required that the video & audio editor, Susie Blank Wolfe, create a MIDI accompaniment for tempo, style and intonation accuracy. Next, each musician listened to this MIDI accompaniment while they recorded the performance video of their individual part(s). The raw videos were sent to Susie, who is also the String Bass player, and often vocalist in GMSB. Then, over a 3 week period, Susie organized, synchronized and edited all of these individual recordings into the performance you see here. First step – editing, synchronizing and balancing each individual audio track, then editing each section of instruments, finally editing, synchronizing and balancing the entire ensemble into the virtual GMSB performance. Next – same process with the visuals. In all, Susie spent over 100 hours assembling, tweaking and fine tuning each frame of this virtual performance. The members of GMSB send heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Susie Blank Wolfe for making these virtual performances available to our audience.

Due to Covid -19 our live concert performances have been suspended, but not our desire to bring our music to you. GMSB looks forward to performing for you LIVE, as soon as safety and prudence permits. And we WILL do that!

The 2020-2021 Concert Season made possible with the support of the City of Coral Gables.
